June 30th, 2009 admin Art in Fashion is a non-mainstream, carnival-like event that combines the creative efforts of artists and the sense of style of fashion designers in a unique show, envisioned not as a typical fashion show in the commercial sense, but as an artistic extravaganza, featuring multiple forms of indie art in movement including costume and fashion design, drag, choreography/dance, performance art, mime, hair design, body piercing, body paint, tattoo art, and other disciplines.
